We are looking for a self-starter CNC Machinist / Programmer / Manual Machinist with experience. The goal is to drive manufacturing success that improves the bottom line. This is a full-time, permanent position with first shift availability.
CNC Programmer/Machinist Job Responsibilities:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
CNC Operator Machinist Job Duties:
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials and specifications.
Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Sets-up and run mills and lathes.
Experience running a Haas CNC vertical machining center and/or familiarity with Mastercam programming language is a plus.
Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
Maintains specifications by monitoring machinery for any problems during the production run adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Ability to work independently or oversee a project in order to complete tasks.
Good decision-making capabilities.
