Controls Technician

Responsibilities:
 Support for both internal production and field service, utilizing mechanical, electrical and programming skills.
 Setup, debug, assembly, testing, installation and commissioning of systems produced by our client.
 Preparation and modification of drawings, manuals, and support documentation.
 Ability to travel up to 50% for field service and customer support.
 Phone support as needed by customers- may fall outside of standard working hours


QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the following:
 Industrial and mechanical environments
 Control and troubleshooting of high speed equipment
 3+ years of controls design working with PLCs or PC equiv.
 Power and controls electronics
 CAD/CAM
 Schematics software
 Test equipment design and implementation
 Ability to work to deadlines
 Component selection and supplier management
 PC literate (familiar with Business Software - e.g. Word, Excel)
