Accounting Manager

REPORTS TO: Partner and Managing Partner MANAGES:         Senior Accountant and Supervisor FLSA STATUS:  Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Accounting Manager applies the principles of accounting within an assigned area or group. Creates and interprets moderately complex financial statements and reports. Specializes in a specific area of accounting or tax. Familiarity with laws and regulations that apply to an accounting function are required to ensure compliance. Supervises two or more full-time equivalent  employees.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Accounting Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

Responsible for networking/marketing within the firm and establishing and retaining own

book of business
